Salute To Our Heroes Celebration
FORT HOOD, TX - Fort Hood’s Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation, Fort Hood’s agencies and its sponsors will honor all who have served our country in a “Salute to Our Heroes”, April 11th. The event will take place at Hood Stadium on Fort Hood, 12:30 p.m. –11 p.m. and will be broadcast around the world via a live webcast at www.paltalk.com and www.SyncLive.com.The “Salute to Our Heroes” celebration is a free, fun-filled day of activities for Soldiers and their Family members, to celebrate their great contributions to our country. The event will include live entertainment, carnival rides, interactive activities, food and non-alcoholic beverages.
The official ceremony kicks off at 12:30 p.m. The live entertainment will follow; from kicking cowboy country to soulful R&B, artists from a variety of genres of music are scheduled to perform. The featured artists are: FOSTERCHILD, Framing Hanley, Grupo Mania, Lyfe Jennings, Marin Morris, Jennifer Pena, Kritickill, Mark Chesnutt, Mylin, Rissi Palmer, Tantric and Wild Horses.
Diana Falzone, host of The Diana Falzone Show which airs on Paltalk.com every Thursday at 11am EST, and local radio personalities Jack and Trippin’ Dawn Hammer will be on hand to keep the crowd pumped in between musical acts.
Live music is just one of the aspects of the event; attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy sponsored interactive simulators. Activities include becoming a NASCAR crew member, miniature stock car racing and hanging out on the USO game bus.
