The Male Perspective
A good friend of mine wrote me this email:
As for there being interesting, fun to be with, decent men in the world (or the NYC area)…. we men are the scum of the universe—this I will not deny; yet, there are at least a few men worth looking at. The question falls mainly to expectations. The greater your expectations of a person, and of a relationship, the greater the chance for disappointment. It has been my experience that knowing what my expectations are, and presenting them sanely and honestly at the beginning of a relationship, has led to much more rewarding and long standing relationships. Just a thought.
