A follow up…
Although the response has been overwhelmingly positive, I wanted to address those that called me, “a man-hater.”
My post about banning men for one night was not created to be a man-bashing post. It was for women to ban together. Every night I listen to men on my radio show talk about love found and lost. Men tell me about cheating and being cheated on. Obviously, there is no superior gender. I’m very lucky to be a fly on the wall in a man’s world. It gives me insight into the world of guys.
When I heard about Spitzer’s affair, it came upon news that a dear family friend’s husband was divorcing her after twenty years of marriage because he wanted to see other people. The first thought that came to my mind was, “I bet she could use some girlfriends right now.”
I want to be a friend and listen to your stories. No one has all the answers, we only can offer each other advice from our own experience. I think getting hundreds of womens’ responses to my post, will be a great way for us girls to know, we have each other’s backs.
