I hope all is well….interesting and insightful post. I do agree; however, it’s important to remember that speaking for one group as a whole (such as the male gender) is sometimes hasty. Not all men cheat, and not all men are bad. It just so happens that we hear more about men’s (and people in general) wrong doing and aren’t informed of good things nearly as much. I understand you, though, and I think it’s important not to enable men’s negative behavior. Your subject line is really funny because I recently broke up with my boyfriend and this Saturday I’m having my best friends over…so it makes perfect sense to me!Good for you for speaking up….I enjoyed reading.

I’ve got a ban on women. It’s sort involuntary. Actually it’s not really a ban. It’s just that I’m not focusing on them right now. I’m one of those nice guy types. One of those guys who you’re not talking about in that ban. We’re the ones who appreciate you ladies and we’re not stupid enough to cheat on you like those dumb jocks. But being a nice guy, I’m supposedly a great catch but I can’t catch a woman to save my life. I figure right now it’s just as well that I haven’t got a chance in Hell of getting a woman. I quit my job in October and am still looking for a new one. And I don’t have a car or even a driver’s license. I haven’t yet gotten a break in my real career. I worked at Wal-Mart from 2005 to 2007 but I, a 26 year old male, am still trying to get a break in my art career. I’m sure I’ve got plenty of time but I want to something to happen soon. There are people who got their big break in whatever career they’ve chosen and they did it at like 18 or younger. I want to make something happen with my art career soon. I’m not worried about women right now. I have a much much better appreciation for them than the dumb jocks do but now I’m not to concerned about meeting a woman.

Just wanted to send you a note to tell you I really enjoyed your article on the new 'women's movement'....
I was laughing especially at the "What is wrong with men?" line because that quote is used painfully often in the dialogue of my girlfriends and I. New York City really is a different planet when it comes to dating and women really do need to start regulating. If I was Spitzer's wife I would break my foot off in his @ss and take him for all he's worth. Amazing the way these women can stand by them in a sedated manner, I couldn't even imagine being able to compose myself after such betrayal!
